Retro tree Birthday card with freebie download

I wanted to make a simple card so i had a look through all the cutting files I've got and decided that I'd give this one a try. The papers are a mix of Bazzill and core'dinations papers. the happy birthday stamp is from a set of stamps that i got last weekend in the hobby craft sale.

If you'd like this SVG file you can get it from here

Birthday tilda with flowersoft

Yes it's another Tilda card. This one is a commission one and it's the 1st time I've used flower soft. i think I'm going to be using it again tho it looks great! I'm so glad I've got more of these Laura Ashely papers delivered today as they really are lovely. I've used the Tim Holtz distress ink around the edge of the paper again and I've finished the card off with some paper flowers and a Martha Stewart punched heart.

I love Ebay

I was so lucky last night i managed to pick up 2 cute Magnolia Tilda stamps for less that £5 each! So excited about getting them, I've already got some sketches ready for using them.

And if eBay wasn't great enough just for that, i got my Laura Ashley paper in the post today that I'd won earlier in the week for less than a pound! it's my favourite paper to use at the moment.

Got a few cards i need to make today so I'll be posting again later, might even have a couple of freebies to add too!

Have a great Saturday, and Happy Crafting x

My 1st challenge

All these years of crafting and I've never taken part in a challenge. There are a few reasons for this, at the start i didn't think my cards were good enough compared to most of the work I'd seen entered for these challenges, but the biggest reason was i just couldn't get my head around the rules and how to enter, so i never bothered.  This time the rules looked easy, joining looked easy so i though oh what the heck lets go for it!

The card i made was very simple, but considering the time i had to dedicate to it I'm happy enough with it :)
Yes more Tilda! I just love these stamps, i'm going to do a project using some other stamps tomorrow so watch this space!!!

Take Care everyone, and Happy crafting! xx

Plan for tonight

I need to get a card made tonight for a challenge and I've got to start thinking about my dad's birthday card....I'm so useless with men's cards though, i just never know what to put on them!

Busy Day

I have been on a role today, i've finished off one project which i will post net weekend as it's a gift for someone and i'd hate to spoil the surprise! i've also completed 3 new items today, a topper and 2 cards. I've got a few more idea's rattling around in my head still so i might get a couple more made before bed time.

tomorrows project

I know i should be in bed but i really wanted to make a start on tomorrow project, i've really got the stamping bug today so i've coloured in another gorgeous Tilda stamp. I love the colour of the card i've stamped the words on. not sure yet how i'm going to put it all together to make a card. Maybe something will come to me in my sleep.

Link to the SVG file for the border used in my last tilda card.

Though i'd share the file i used to make this lovely decorative frame

finished tilda topper

Well i've finished the topper i started yesterday, i just love these laura ashley papers!!

yesterday i hand coloured the tilda image, today i cut out the frame to sit it on and gave it a sky back ground with a blending foam and blue ink, i went around the edge of the frame with a Tim Holtz distress ink in antique linen, i u sed that same ink to go around the edge of the papers. I made the blue flower on the bottom with the cricut. once i'd layered everything up used some pink lace, some buttons, a cute little wooden painted heart and butterfly, and i made a blue bow to finish it off.

Shopping trip!!!

I popped into my local Hobby craft today when i was out grocery shopping as soon as i got through the door i was greeted by basket after basket of items reduced in the sale. I had to do what any crafter would have...I grabbed a hand basket and got shopping.
This is what i got, and it only cost me £18.43 for all of it!!!!

The 2 packs of stamps alone should have been over£12

Watch this space I'll be back later with some finished projects i hope!!
Happy Crafting xx

Magnolia Tilda stamping

It's been far too long since i had the chance to do some crafting last so I've put aside all other things for a hour tonight and made  start on a new project. I love working with stamps and my promarkers and tonight i decided to do a cute Tilda image this one is called noble Tilda. I had a look at the different items I'd got for her to sit on and went with the swing. unfortunately this is as far as I've got for now, but i hope to either finish it later when I've got some jobs done, or if not I'll make time tomorrow to finish.

Fairy tri fold

I have been wanting to make another tri fold card but just wasn't sure what to put on it, i was looking through all my papers and came across this lovely double sided green paper from paper mania. It's plain green on one side and has a gorgeous butterfly pattern on the back. I have had the fairy svg's for a while and i have used them before in the past.

I used my cricut create to cut out the card, the panels and the fairies.

I'd forgot how much i've missed crafting until today, I'd so relaxing and satisfying to create something brand new and unquie.

Until next time stay safe and Happy Crafting!

Thank you's

I decided i really did need to get my thank you notes made for all the lovely Christmas present we'd had. I used this really cute bird SVG file and kept it nice and simple.
