Halloween mini album

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I got a post on here, I've been sick with pneumonia but i'm finally feeling just a little bit better today and I've been itching to make something. I have had a go at my first ever mini album and enjoyed it so much that I am going to make another int he week :D

I have got loads of photo's to go with this so I will try and explain how I put it all together. I used lots of different products from different companies in this project and I will try and list them all as I go along.

The first thing I started with was the Zutter 4.1" x 4.1" chipboard mini album covers.

I covered the front with mod podge and stuck on some gorgeous images from totally love her work.

The images on the from are the halloween donimo's. Once they were all stuck on I covered the front again with the mod podge.

I then made the paper rosette and sprayed plain white prima paper flowers with glimmer mist.

Halloween treat bags

It's nearly that time of year again when the children of the village descend on us in their quest for sweets and treats!

I hope this year they won't be disappointed with my goody bags, I've used plain zip lock bags and filled them with yummy treats. Tomorrow I will do a step by step blog with the sizes and materials used. These bags are so easy and look great (OK I'm biased!)

Well these are my attempt for this year, what is everyone else doing this year? I'm always after some new ideas so please feel free to link your blog with your Halloween crafts, or anything else you'd like to share.

Autumn tones

I had my order from Wild Orchid crafts today, I always love getting my orders from them, I ordered some leaves this time and from those decided to make this Autumn toned card. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie and I have coloured it with pro markers, I've layered it up on some bazzil and paper mania card stock. The lace is from a job lot I won on eBay really cheap a few days ago. I then finished the card off with a rose that I sprayed with copper glimmer mist and 2 of the Autumn toned leaves.

Garden Delights

Just a quick post before bed, I was asked to make a card with a garden theme to it, I don't normally have the patience for this type of design but tonight I thought I'd give it a go and see what happened. The card is a 3d green house with some pots a table and a little trowel inside it, I've made it with card stock that I have printed onto and acetate for the windows. The box was made in the same way, so all of this started off was a pile of plain white card stock and a few sheets of acetate.

note book and post it note holder

So I got my zutter finally after a long time of it being on my wish list! I wanted to make a little note book and once I had made that I decided to use the same papers to make a little holder for my small post it notes. I really need to start doing tutorials and instructions for things like this, that will be my challenge for this month.
The papers I used are from K and Company, the base is just some white card stock that I have inked over with peeled paint distress ink. the ribbon on the note book is seam binding from wild orchid crafts and the green ribbon on the post it note holder is some I picked up from a car boot sale. I cut the circles out with the spell binder and the S on each one is from creative imaginations. The book was bound with the antique brass wires and the pages inside are all just plain paper.
