I give you my heart

Actually got around to taking part in the Macarbe Monday challenge this week, the project needed to have a heart and a hole on it, I was eager to use this new stamp I got from Dilly Bean but it took me a few minutes thinking as to where the hole could come into it, then I thought I know I will do a tag and put the hole in the top for the thread to go through! The image has been coloured with promarkers, then layered on some kanban card stock and onto a the tag with I cut out of a piece of hunky dory card stock that I ran through my texture boutique. The flowers are from my stash I think these ones I picked up on eBay, the lace on the bottom I got from eBay and the words I printed myself.

Digi Layout

This is for another of the challenges over at I don't do much digi stuff really but I'm thinking I should start it's quite good fun when there is little time or i'm not feeling like getting all of my craft stuff out. As i'm not very well the words on this one are very fitting it's just how i'm feeling lol. With a bit of luck I will full of energy again tomorrow so I can get back to working out, really nervous about my weigh in on Wednesday!
I used the my memories suite software to make this layout.
and the digital stamp came from

Christina Perri - The Lonely (Official Lyric Video)

The Lonely - Rock N Rolla Inspiration Challenge- January

This piece was so much fun to work on, it is themed on the song The Lonely by Christina Perri
This is my interpretation of the song. I've used a blank canvas, covered it with black acrylic paint and then used red paint at the top for the blood runs,
I blobbed lots of it all over the top and gently knocked the bottom of the canvas on my desk until it had run down as far as I wanted it to. The background image is from Debbi Moore's Twilight CD and I've printed that onto red vellum. The dead dancer digital stamp is from smeared ink the wording is lyrics from the song that I printed off.

Dance of the dead tag.

This tag is for the smudgy antics challenge this week titled Tall, Dark and Gruesome! I've used this stamp I'm totally full of a cold today so wanted to make something that looks good but is nice and simple to do and this is it!

What Wednesday again....this soon no way!!!! WOYWW

I'm afraid I don't really have much to show this week, I had planned on doing lots of challenges, I planned on making lots of things, I planned on so much yet did so little! Well that's not completely true, This past week I've spent time with my boys, I've worked out I've laughed lots and general had a pretty good week and to top it all off I went to weight watchers tonight for my 1st proper weigh in and I'd lost 6lb! This week I am just going to take it as it comes, do what I can when I get time and enjoy!
So the state of my it is! All there is left to do is hop over to Julia's blog and see what everyone else has been up to this week, i'm sure it's far more than me :)

crafty night

Needed to do things to keep my mind busy tonight so I've made a few cards. I started with the Fairy ones using images from Debbi Moore's Garden Fairies and then I made the Valentine one using an image calledLove Li'l Grumpies- Smittie from which is one of my favourite places to window shop right now!
Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with a few new things, I quite fancy making some stationary, of course there will more than likely be something dark and twisted in there somewhere too!
Until then Happy Crafting x

Imperfectly Perfect

I have struggled a little to get motivated this week, been a bit of an up down week so i'm not over impressed with what I've come up with today, hopefully I will be able to get back into it again over the weekend. Anyway this is my entry for the challenge this week. I had a few ideas as to what I could do but I just love this image from the Octopode Factory it's such a cute in a freakishly way. I'm also entering this in the following challenges Hope to be back on top form again tomorrow!

It's Wednesday!!!!

I have had a very lazy start to the week so far, I have lots of challenges I want to enter and ideas for them all I've just not actually got around to putting things together. As you can see my desk is far messier than it was last week lol, that was definitely a one off!
I'm not sure as I will have anything finished to post tonight but I aim to get something done for tomorrow :)
Thanks for stopping by to have a look what I've been up to, don't forget to head back to to see what everyone else is working on this Wednesday :)

Gothic top hat

Just a quick post to share with you what I did yesterday. This hat was finished off with tulle, net, lace, a paper flower and metal embellishes.
I will be back tomorrow with some more challenge projects.

A little bit of kink - Recycled book - Business card holder

This project is for the Smudgy Antics challenge – recycle something and can be found here ; the Delicious Doodles Challenge new thing I am using is my new digi stamp which is linked a little further down. The Items I have recycled are a book and wallpaper samples. And what I’ve turned them into is a business card holder. It would certainly liven up the office desk!I’m not doing a tutorial for this post but if anyone would like one I could do one and post it.The book was one I picked up in a job lot and had a damaged spine and water damage to the first few pages so wasn’t much use. I removed the covers and the damaged pages and used the rest of it. The red and black layers are old wallpaper samples, I think wall paper makes fab backing paper and this is really good quality and very thick. The image is from http://www…
