WOYWW 135

Excited to show off my new work space this week! My craft area is the space behind the sofa in the living room. Up until a few days ago It was just my
PC desk that I was working from and far too many boxes stacked up behind me with all my bits in, it was a total nightmare to find anything and even harder to keep tidy and organized. Now I have got my own little piece of crafting heaven!! So this is my new work desk and the little project I am going to make.

My favourite thing on the desk has got to be the metal cake stand which is now home to all my inks, some of my punches and scissors and my embossing powders which I have put into glass salt and pepper shakers and made little tags for.

I am just going to make a small card and I fell over yesterday and have got my left hand in a splint now so it's not going to be easy to do anything too tricky just yet :(

I will have the card finished and posted before I go to bed tonight. And here it is!! http://happycraftings.blogspot.com/2012/01/dont-know-how-i-did-it-but-here-it-is.html

Have a look at what everyone else is up to this Wednesday! http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/2012/01/whats-on-your-workdesk-wednesday-135.html

Great crafty space! love the cake stand idea and also putting your embossing powders in the glass pots! I picked a couple of those mini storage drawer sets up the other day, I've yet to find the perfect spot for them but couldn't resist buying them as they were a bargain! x

What a great workspace and I like how you've put the embossing powders in the pots. Also love the use of the cakestand. Can't imagine how you made the card with only one hand. Hope you will soon be back to two hands. Happy 2012. Anne x

Under the sea

I felt the need to get messy today and all the other projects I am working on are in different stages and all drying so I started something new, I wanted something that I could start and finish in one sitting. I decided on this mixed media banner. I have used various ephemera that I had which matched the under the sea theme and then I stamped up one of the stamps from Smeared Ink's Abyss rubber set. She has been coloured in with spectrum noir markers.
