Poe Pin Cushion

I've been toying with the idea of making a pin cushion for a while and decided to just go for it today :)

I have used a heavy glass tea light holder as the base then used different materials, lace, trims and flowers to make this very dark but elegant ( I think ) pin cushion, it looked a bit bare so I make some stick pins to go into it :)

Under the sea

I felt the need to get messy today and all the other projects I am working on are in different stages and all drying so I started something new, I wanted something that I could start and finish in one sitting. I decided on this mixed media banner. I have used various ephemera that I had which matched the under the sea theme and then I stamped up one of the stamps from Smeared Ink's Abyss rubber set. She has been coloured in with spectrum noir markers.
