SmudgeFest day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of Smudgefest! For all the details on the challenge, please visit the first post. We are so excited to see all the incredibly amazing entries so far for Smudgefest! Hang in there, we are almost half way through (it goes by quickly, doesn't it?) the seven days of challenges, and we can't wait to see what you do today! Just in case you need a refresher on the rules, here they are again:

*Each morning from August 6th through 12th at 12:01 am Pacific Time, a new challenge will be posted. It will contain that day's theme and prize information.
*To participate, you must make a project that fits the theme and add it to that day's post using the Inlinkz linky. It must be linked by midnight of the same day.
*Your project can be anything (card, scrapbook page, altered or 3-d item, etc) as long as it is handmade and stamped somewhere with either a rubber or digital stamp. Feel free to think outside the box and have fun with your project! We are all about looking at things differently and look forward to the variety of projects we are sure to see.
*You must use AT LEAST 1 Smeared ink image on your project to qualify for the grand prize drawing. You are allowed to use anything else that you like.
*The daily winner will be chosen by random number and revealed later the next day in a separate post (not the daily theme post).
*At the end of the week, all participatnts who submitted entries for all seven days and used a Smeared Ink image on all their entries will be entered for the Grand Prize Drawing of a $200 shopping spree from Smeared Ink. The winner will be chosen by random number and announced on Monday, August 13th. We've got a new release coming up so I hope you are all excited for this chance to win loads of our images!!

OK - are you ready to get started with Day 3? Here we go!

Welcome to Day 3 of SmudgeFest!!
USE ONLY WORDS TODAY(no images, just words).
* EDIT - So...I didn't realize how hard this one could be for everyone so here is an idea that might can use background/texture stamps to help create your project....
Also, most of our sets come with sentiments, but we also have a set called Teen Sayings. It can be purchased at half-price today (last day of our 50% OFF digi sets sale). The discount is applied during checkout.

Well I have to say I was a little stuck first thing today when I saw this, then I thought I know I will make a necklace using Shrink plastic typically though I couldn't find the shrink plastic so I figured I'd think of something else and while I was I would make a sun catcher. I cut out some Kanban card stock with the Tim Holtz Bird cage die so I had 2 birdcages. I then got a sheet of acetate and used alcohol inks and salt on them to create an awesome background colour and texture. Once all that was done I stuck the acetate between the 2 bird cages. At this point I was thinking I wonder what I could do to this now to use it for my SA Project today, I opened up my cupboard that I had already emptied today to see the shrink plastic on the top!!

Well that was it full steam ahead!

I printed the sentiment "I do what I want" from the Lil grumpies set onto some shrink plastic , inked it over with a mi of walnut stain and worn lipstick distress inks, punched the 2 holes and heated it up to shrink it.

Once that was done I used some jump rings to attach it to the birdcage and used 2 ear rings that are full of little beads which catch the sun lovely :D

All that was left then was to put some twine through the top hole to hang it up with.
