I've got a bit of a long post for you all today! first off I will share with you my piece for the day. I decided to make a card to enter into the sparkle and glitter challenge. The image is called Mistress Vampyra by Rick St Dennis and can be found here http://www.etsy.com/listing/80819229/mistress-vampyra-digital-stamp.
I coloured the image with promarkers and added some stickles where I wanted it to sparkle. The papers I have used are all from my stash. The die cut in the corner is a memory box one and the house the other side is Tim holtz, I have used some fake spider webbing to hang over that. The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the lace and bling again are from my stash. I know I used pink! but it was the only big flower I had got that would go, and that bit of pinky packing paper....well I quite like that :)
I have been playing around with taking photos of my projects trying to find the best way to do it...I have to give a shout out to Lady Braxton for providing me with such a wonderful pumpkin that I have found makes a great prop for photos as well as it being a brilliant decoration :)
This card I am entering in the following challenges.
Now onto the next part of my post today, my fabulous children have been doing some crafting too so I am going to share with you some of their work.
First up is a card my 7 year old Andrew made he used an image from stamping with the dragon, it was a cute image so I thought it would be the best one to give him to colour....it would seem he takes after me far too much as when I came in to check on him he had turned it into a zombie owl! the image can be found here if anyone wants it not to zombify lol http://dragonslairdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=403_412&products_id=2792
Next up is 2 pieces that Ben my 9 year old made, the first one is a tag made with Tim Holtz craft resist paper and covered with distress stain. the image is from smeared ink and can be found here http://www.smearedink.com/masked-as-death/ .
The second piece he made is a card using some little images from smeared ink and the image in the middle is from delicious doodles and can be found here http://www.deliciousdoodles.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/the-graveyard.html.
He really did have great fun making those red splodges that he said looks like blood :D
I love that he even put a lightening bolt into the image :)
Now you have seen whats been going on in my house hop along with the rest of the bloggers today :) See you all again tomorrow with more creepiness!
