First time playing with pan pastels

I have been at the NEC today visiting the hobby craft and art fair. I had a great time and picked up some new goodies to play with, I stopped by Aly's stall from http://www.alysinkyfingers.co.uk/ and picked up some stamps and my first pan pastels.Of course I had to play with them as soon as I got in, I should really read how to use them, but I like to dive right in so just played around and I have to say I liked how they worked out. The first piece I made was a book mark. Then I had a play around with the same stamps and some others that I picked up from Lavinia stamps along with one of their gorgeous scene-scapes.

I am going to be entering these into the current challenge at Cards Galore http://cardsgalorechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/cards-galore-november-challenge.html

Wow! For first attempt with the pans these are amazing, I love Lavinia stamps, they seem to go hand in hand with the pans to create that ethereal effect, and wow have you done that here, I'm really impressed, I love my pans they are so addictive and so lovely to use! Xxx
