2 or more Designers papers with Left of Center

Wow there were some fabulous enteries for the last challenge. For The current challenge at Left of Center we are being sponsored by A and T digital Designs. The image that I got to use is seriously gorgeous, it's called Ebony and can be found here.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used several papers from First Editions Desert Blooms stack, Prima and Laura Ashley.
The flowers are from my stash and came mainly from Wild Orchid Crafts, the Twine is from American Crafts.

Delicious Doodles White on White

I have to say when I first saw this theme I was in a bit of a panic. I really love the look of white on white but I find it scary to do. For my card I ran a couple of pieces of white card through some embossing folders. I then ran some more through with some dies. I used some lace trim and flower trim to give it some more texure. The image that I used is called Vintage Wedding Carriage. I do hope you will come and join in our challenge this week at Delicious Doodles.

Couple of tags

I've been doin a bit of crafting today and wanted to share these 2 tags, I've made them for a FB challenge which can be found here

The challenge is to make a tag with words that match the theme and using ink.
The first tag i sprayed with inks then stamped the flowers, butterflies and the sentiment in black ink

The second tag I poured Utee over the botom half and stamped the background stamp from stampotique into it, when it was hard I rubbed over it and the rest of the tag with some pearl mint green paint. I then stamped another stampotique stamp and coloured it with a combination of promarkers and distress inks. The words I wrote, cut out and stuck on.
I'd like to enter these tags into the following challenges.  - Hoarded items are the tags, they have been hiding in my stash for well over a year! 2nd tag

Week 2 of fur and feathers with Smudgy Antics

Welcome back for the second week in our fortnight challenge  with Smudgy Antics!  You have one more week to play! For this challenge we want to see more than just paper, glue and ink. We want to see feathers or fur or a combination of the two.  We want to you guys and gals to create projects that make us want to reach through the computer screen and touch everything we see!  The more creative the better.  We love it when you guys and gals think outside of the box and make something with that extra "WOW" factor.
Of course we must address the fine print.  Although the focus of the challenge is to use FEATHERS and or FUR, you must still use a stamped image (real or digi) and you must follow the rules posted on the left sidebar of the challenge blog to be in the running for a prize.  Collage sheets may be used to enhance your project, but they do NOT count as a stamped image so make sure you use a stamp of some sort in your final piece.

Pop Art inspired

I found a bit of time this morning to craft so I made a card for the very sketchy challenge on the Smeared and Smudged forum.

The papers I have used are all Bazzil, the face stamp is from smeared ink's Prints rubber set and the splotches from their iny dreams rubber set. Both can be found in the Smeared Ink rubber club here. the other stamp that I have used on there is a Tim Holtx one.

There are many fun challenges on the forum so be sure to drop by and have a look :)

Also there is still time to get your entries in for the alter a box challenge at Smudgy antics

Lace with Delicious Doodles

For a last minute make I am really pleased with how this turned out. I coloured in the gorgeous steampunk Sally in with watercolour pencils ages ago and she has been sitting in a box waiting for the right project to come along. I thought there is no better time to use her than on a lace card for the new Delicious Doodles challenge.

All of the bits and pieces I have used on this card have come from my stash apart.
I do hope you will come and join us in this weeks challenge.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges - my 3 embelishments are flowers, keys and a fancy metal embelishment behind the flowers.

I have made something a bit different for this hop, the theme is anything goes so I thought what shall I make? Should I do something I've done before and I'm comfortable making? should I keep it simple? or should I do somethin totally out of my comfort zone and that I have never made before? and should I decide to do that just the day before the hop?

Of course you just know I did lol!

I got my sewing machine out and I made me a bag/pouch to keep my markers in when I am on the move.

Ike's art

This post is all about my friend Ike :) She draws such beautiful digis which I often use but don't always share so I thought I'd share some of those pieces and give Ike a bit of a shout out. If you want to check out Ike's Digis head over to her shop  or her blog .

On the thimble holder I have also used some stamps from smeared ink who Ike has also drawn some fab stamps for. I am going to be doing a couple of other posts with some of Ike's stamps but as I wanted to use the pieces for challenges I will show them off separately :)
