Love U Bug

I know everyone is posting Christmas things and I'm starting already with Valentine things but this little guy caught my eye when I was looking for another digi so I thought I would let myself be side tracked for a bit and make something with him.

I coloured the image which is from Delicious Doodles and Called Love U Bug in with Promarkers, the white card is from Stampin up as is the embossing folder I used both can be found here. The red card stock is a piece fro my stash and the ribbon has come from my box or hoarded ribbons, I am starting to work my way through them now :D

Just a quick reminder too that the discounted Tag Bundles just click on the photo to have a look.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges: (ribbon is my hoarded item)

Sugar Plum Fairy

I coloured in this cute sugar plum fairy from Rick St Dennis a couple of nights ago and wanted to get it onto a project. It has got to be one of my better attempts at colouring so I am quite pleased with out it has turned out.

The papers and cardstock I have used for this are all from my stash and are mostly off cuts.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges (snowflakes on the paper)

Creepmas is coming

Yes it is that time of year again where my page fills up with creepy Christmas images :D The page I am sharing today us one I have made using some fab images from Delicious doodles. I am entering this into the following challenges.

Emo Love

I was sitting at my desk and noticed this chipboard tag, rather than putting it away I thought I would see what I could do with it. I picked up the first piece of paper I came to which is from a prima stack. I stuck it down with some tombow and sanded the edges. Next I used some distress ink in dusty concord to put on the edges and through some punchanella. I picked up a heart doily and ripped of a bit and stuck it to the tag. The flower is a piece of grunge board that I covered with Glimmer glaze and added a little purple embossing powder in places. The image is from Delicious Doodles and is called Emo Valentine Fairy. She was coloured in with promarkers. To finish off the tag I used some fibres, paper flowers and a love charm.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges,

Domino Bracelet

I am trying to finish some projects that have been half done for a long time. The first of these is a domino bracelet. To make this I covered the smooth side of a domino with crackle paint and attached a ribbon to the side with the numbers on. When the paint was dry I stamped onto it with one of the stamps from the smeared ink rubber set called Holy City 2 which can be found here if you haven't yet ordered this one or are not a member of the rubber club yet. To finish off the bracelet I added a few beads to each side then tied some knots so it slides to make the opening smaller or larger.

Delicious Doodles no Design paper challenge

The challenge this week at Delicious Doodles is to make something without using design paper. This means you could make an altered item that doesn't require any design paper, you could stamp on your backing paper, you could emboss it or simply leave it plain.

I have created 2 piece for this challenge as I was feeling particularly inspired by the theme. the first card I made was using the Mermaid's Revenge I coloured the image in with promarkers. For the side panel on the card I ran it through my big shot with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. then rubbed over the raised part with distress ink. For the main background on the card I stamped all over it with a kaiser craft stamp and versamark, I then covered the whole thing with copper embossing powder and heated it. The brown panel just behind the image was also ran through the Big shot in an embossing folder

For my next piece I have made a Creepmas card, I used Bah Humbug Tree  and Christmas Skull Corner

I printed the images out on…

Week 2 of Smudgy Antics Fire and Ice challenge

As my piece last week was more fire themed I have gone with an ice theme this week.
I have used the awesome rubber stamp from smeared ink. It is one of the stamps from the occasions l'il grumpies rubber set and be found here with the past offerings.
I stamped the image onto paper and coloured it in normally then stamped it again onto acetate and overlaid it. The rest of the card was kept very simple and the senti I typed then printed off.
I hope you are able to join us with our challenge over at Smudgy Antics

Krazy Kritterz with IKE's WORLD Challenges.

It's team B's turn to share our projects with you this week for  Challenge #4 KRAZY KRITTERZ.  We thought we'd have a bit of quirky fun with this Challenge and the DT were given a whole bunch of Kritterz to choose from and here's a snapshot of the various Kritterz available atIKEsART.

I do hope you are able to come and join us. For my piece I used the chicken from Krazy Kritterz 2.
I flipped it and printed it out 4 times to add to this wooden key holder.  As soon as I saw this chicken I knew I had the perfect papers to make something fun.

Fire and Ice with Smudgy Antics

Hello everyone, our new challenge over at Smudgy Antics is Fire and Ice. You can interpret this theme in any way you wish as we love to see out of the box thinking at Smudgy Antics.

For my piece I have focused more on the fire and have used the elementals rubber stamp set from Smeared Ink which was one of the sets offered in October.  To start with I made a box and used the fire Goddess on the front of it.

I then used the other element Goddesses to create a set of note cards to put inside the box.

Now it's your turn to come up with something exciting for us on the Smudgy Antics DT to feast our eyes on.

I would like to enter these to the following challenges

Christmas is coming

I have been feeling Christmasy today so made a start on my Christmas cards.
This card has been made using the brand new Christmas image from Delicious Doodles called Mistletoe Kiss. Isn't she stunning!?!
The Sentiment is also from Delicious doodles.
I used a mixed of pens to colour in the image, the face was coloured in with spectrum noir pens, the hair and the red bits was coloured with promarkers and the green was coloured with a Stampin Up Stampin' write marker.
All the other bits are bits from my Christmas stash.
