no patterned paper with IWC

I totally suck at this blogging lark. My youngest has been sick so I was trying to sort out baby sitters and look after him before going into work and totally missed the fact it was Tuesday. So here is my piece for the 2nd week of our challenge over at IWC.

I've used a stamp called Krazy Katz to make this card.

Week 4 at QTR

Where has this month gone?!? We are on week 4 of our current challenge already.

This is the grid we are using in this challenge.

I decided to go with Flowers, Poe and Feathers this week in a journal page. I know it isn't dark as such this time but it was some great creative therapy :)

Smudgy Antics Inspiration.

It's my day to post over at Smudgy Antics today. I've made a journal page using Betty the Snake Charmer. I coloured her up with Derwent colour soft pencils.

Things with Wings at IWC

Hello lovelies, our current theme at IKE's WORLD Challenges is things with wings. I have used blue tit 3 and made a journal page to share, there is a video of me making this to follow (just haven't had time to edit it yet). I do hope you will pop over and see what all the other DT have made and join us with our challenge.

I started this book page by painting some cream acrylic paint over the pages and left it to dry.
Once dry I added some gimmer glaze flicks and distress ink through a stencil. The Blue tit has been coloured using coloursoft pencils, the butterflies are from a piece of wall paper and the words I typed and printed before adding the glimmer glaze to them as well as a boarder around the whole page. To finish it I added a few bits of glitter.

Altered Book Page

I was given some old books a few weeks ago, not my sort of books and there were pages falling out so I thought they would be perfect to alter and use in craft projects. For this page I started by covering the pages with gesso, then I used some water colour pastels and shimmer mists. Once all of that was dry I added modeling paste though some stencils and sprayed gain once it was dry. The stamps are from Kanban, Prima and Inkadinkadoo. I coloured in the kanban stamp with Derwent Coloursoft pencils.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

day 3 of April Muse

Soooo there was a fear I had caught the organisational bug that seems to be doing the rounds, As you can see the incubation period is over and I am clearly not infected.
Now only my rather late piece for today, I have gone with a tag today using rubber stamps from the Smeared Ink sets build a zombie and a little bit batty (the bats are on the background but not overly visible)

Here is your blog list again, thought with how late I am I'm sure you will have already visited everyone else LOL

Day 1 of April Muse

some of the members of Smeared and Smudged are taking part in a 3 day blog hop called April Muse. Today's posts are to be something foolish or fun. I am sharing something I did to make a friend laugh. I know I had a package full of bits I would be posting soon so I thought I would add a stamp or 2 to the front of it. Only one of two turned into covering it...I had way too much fun doing so too!
All of the stamps used are Smeared Ink Rubber stamps.

Here is the blog roll so you can go and leave everyone some love :) April Muse Three Day Blog Hop

Today is also the first day of the new challenge over at Smudgy Antics, so if you are using any Smeared Ink stamps this month be sure to add your pieces over there. For my DT piece there today I have created a Bookmark using one of the stamps from Lost Dreams rubber set.
