31 Days of Halloween 2017 - Day 4

Today I am sharing a journal/art book I have made. I had been wanting to have a go at binding a book for a while so figured what better time. I've used the piano bind technique along with using up nothing but scrap papers or junk mail to make the pages. Waste really bothers me, and when I read  while ago just how little of the things we put out to recycle actually get recycled I have made an effort to reuse and re-purpose as much as I can do myself.

I have used some Smeared Ink digital stamps on the front cover, they were printed out and given a light brushing with distress inks, I've added some ribbon and a bit of flowered trim that I also covered in distress ink.
